We met Ms.Bootsie thru her son Leonard and daughter Vanessa after joining the North Philadelphia S.D.A. Church. She truly became like a mother to us by opening her home for us to relax and eat dinner after church service. It was so easy to love Bootsie and her family that we were immediatly invited to weddings, baby blessings, business openings, birthday parties and baby showers.
Ms. Bootsie was always giving and never complained. I would say her most famous words were........"I'm alright". We are a lot richer (in character) as a result of knowing and being around Grandma Bootsie! May God bless & keep you all during this time!
